Need an ITIN in West Jordan or somewhere nearby in Salt Lake County? I’m Francisco, an IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) and a tax preparer since 2022. I help families apply for and renew ITINs, in English or Spanish, and you keep your passport instead of mailing it to the IRS.

Ready to start? Request an appointment below. I’ll reply with your document list and a price before we begin.

Why use a Certifying Acceptance Agent?

When you apply by mail, the IRS asks for your original documents or copies certified by the agency that issued them. For most families that means mailing a passport and waiting weeks to get it back.

As a CAA, I can review and authenticate your documents in person and hand them right back to you. For dependents, a CAA can authenticate passports and civil birth certificates; school or medical records for dependents still have to be mailed with the application.

How I can help

  • New ITINs for you, your spouse, and your dependents
  • ITIN renewals
  • Filling out and reviewing Form W-7
  • Preparing the federal tax return the W-7 is attached to
  • Tax returns for ITIN filers and self-employed (1099) workers

How it works

  1. Request an appointment with the form below. Tell me what you need and how many people need an ITIN.
  2. I send you the document list and a clear price before we start.
  3. We meet, I review your documents, and I submit your application with your tax return.

What documents will I need?

A valid passport is the only document that works on its own. Without one, you usually need two documents, and children have extra rules. Get your personal list in a minute with my free ITIN Document Checker. Already have an ITIN? Check if it’s still valid with Is My ITIN Expired?

How long does it take?

The IRS says to allow about 7 weeks, or 9 to 11 weeks if you apply between January 15 and April 30. If you know you’ll need an ITIN for this tax season, it’s best to start early.

Pricing

  • New ITIN (application only): $150 for the first person and $85 for each additional family member
  • ITIN renewal: $100 per person
  • Tax return (federal and Utah): from $150
  • ITIN + tax return (1 person): from $280

Example: a family of 4 that needs new ITINs, no tax return: $150 + $85 + $85 + $85 = $405.

Special: if your appointment is before January 31, 2027, I’ll take $20 off your total. One special per family.

The IRS doesn’t charge for an ITIN. Tax return prices are starting prices: your final price depends on the forms your situation needs (for example, 1099s or a business). Your Utah return is included. I confirm your price before we start. Flat fee: I never charge a percentage of your refund.
